Still trying to sort through the best sources for fanfic and people, with LJ being sold and Vox being dead/silent. IJ is picking up but i’m not sure that site will handle fandom specific needs as well as something like this system.

Many, too brain damaged to really think about it now; though music, especially NDH stands out, Megaherz, Eisbrecher, Unheilig, etc. couldn’t live without music these days!
Sometimes i play on a GBA, just got a PSP, so games are moving up in status.

Searching For…

Looking for real people to share online interests with, interesting fic to read, silly stuff to share, and so on.
Also and especially looking for some folks that I know peripherally and would like to know better, some I’ve exchanged cards with, or fangirled over their fic, or played with and chatted with via LJ. Catching up with people I enjoy is important right now.. could be the deep winter mood. Whee!

I occupy a busy suburb comfortably close to a Major City in lovely Northern California. I live with my spouse, our roommate, four fat rats, five clever and unspeakably spoiled parrots, and one evil rabbit. By day I work for the Printer Company from Hell; by night I read obsessively, write obsessively (but not always as successfully), surf the net for yaoi, make costumes, take photos, draw hopefully, go to cons, design websites, post to my blogs, play video games, chat with my friends, and lovingly spoil my wife and pets. I’m always getting my busy little Taurus hands into everything that looks even remotely interesting to me and avoiding stuff that doesn’t. I’m as fond of keeping busy as I am of lazing around doing nothing. Please send me food.

Personal Information

I’m in my fifth year at university, studying English (Creative Writing) and Japanese. I’ll probably be serving another five-to-ten in grad school for a MFA in Creative Writing (Fiction). I love making a fort out of all my college loans and hiding in it. There, I pretend that I’m a queen (or on my slightly more confused days, a king) from a decadent alternate universe, spreading madness wherever I go, and that I’m going to take over Vermont. It will be a good colony….

When I’m not hiding from reality or under a pile of essays, research projects, and classwork, I have hobbies that make me a healthy, functional human being: drawing, writing, and riding my BI-cycle! BI-cycle! while making obscure references to lyrics by classic rock bands (my favorites are Queen and Pink Floyd).

I write science fiction, historical fiction, and that damn ambiguous literary (for class), and 70% of all of it is slash. I draw pretty, bad-ass men and sometimes women. People tell me my style resembles Tite Kibo. I blame Bleach.

Sometimes, late at night, when everybody has gone to sleep and I’m left with nothing to do (aside from doing actual classwork), I bring up Word and write a fanfic. In private shame, I usually delete it after writing as much as I can, but on a rare occasion, when I decide that fanfiction isn’t such a bad thing and fandom isn’t really all that scary, I save it and hide it in the deepest recesses of my laptop, where only fools dare to tread.

manga: bleach, love pistols, junjou romantica, gravitation, mpd psycho, only words, etc…
comic books: The Sandman, Fables, Transmetropolitan, and a slew of other comics by Vertigo.
authors: Neil Gaiman, Warren Ellis, Alan Moore, HP Lovecraft, Margaret Atwood…..
movies: assassin/hitman flicks, samurai films, anything by Akira Kurosawa or Luc Besson, Zoolander, etc….
tv shows: doctor who, battlestar galactica, life on mars, csi, scrubs, venture brothers, x-files, etc…..
ice cream: key lime, green tea, strawberry.

Personal Information

Third year biochemistry major, with an English minor, here. Probably should’ve just gone for the English major. Moving out on my own this year, so will likely be stressed out of my mind. I like yaoi (any kind at all) and fangirling over my gay guy friend and his current relationship *squee*. I also like the loli fashion style, though I don’t own any loli clothes. I can be emo, goth, rebellious, whatever, but I’m usually quite cheerful in conversation, so feel free to message me.

Actually, if I had a choice, I would become a hermit writer. However, I have no writing talent to speak of. However, I love editing! (Pst, scanlation groups, if you’re looking for QCers/Proofreaders, you’ve come to the right place… LOL). I’m wonderful at picking up little mistakes, due to my tough training in an Asian household while shopping. XD
